Journey to Clausthal

Travelling with busses & trains

Unfortunately, you cannot visit us by train. We recommend you to travel to Goslar by train and to continue your journey to Clausthal by bus. To get to Goslar you can travel directly from Hannover, Braunschweig or Halle. From Goslar train station, the busses 830 and 831 will transport you directly to Clausthal. From the south, we recommend that you travel to Goslar and take the bus stated above. Believe us, it is faster. On Sunday, the only way back home is via Goslar.
When you arrive in Clausthal and want to get to the TU-area get off at “Bauhofstaße” and walk as documented in the enclosed map or simply ask the kind natives: TU-Gelände “Tannenhöhe”. If you still get lost, good luck. For those who are planning to arrive on Saturday we recommend to get off at the old railway-station (Busbahnhof) and to walk to “Dreifachhalle” (Its in a school, next to the local police station).
In case that no bus connection exists, contact us directly here in Clausthal. We recommend: Search your train and bus connection in the internet under the address http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de before coming.

Travelling by car

Clausthal can easily be found from Seesen (A7, exit 67) or from Goslar and a little more difficult from about anywhere else in the world. Be succesfull! (the map may help you)

Inside Clausthal

It is a little bit tricky to find your sleeping hall, but with this map you should reach your destination before the break of dawn.
